What types of productions do you capture?
We specialize in capturing a wide range of performers, including burlesque, fire arts, aerial, circus, theatre, dance, pole, cabaret and even comedy shows. There's no limitation to what we can capture! Our goal is to capture the energy, emotion, and artistry of each performance.
Can you provide video services as well as photography?
We sure do! In addition to images, we use cinema-grade video cameras and an on-board videographer to capture productions. Please let us know your requirements, and we can arrange a comprehensive package that includes both photography and videography.
How do you handle low-light conditions in theatres and live venues?
We use high-end, professional-grade cameras and lenses that perform well in low-light conditions. Additionally, we have extensive experience in managing stage lighting and movement, ensuring that the photos are sharp, vibrant, and accurately represent the atmosphere of the performance!
What's your pricing structure?

How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
Our editing process typically takes 2-4 weeks, depending on the quantity of images and the complexity of the editing required (low light conditions typically require additional post-processing). We prioritize attention to detail to ensure your images are the level of quality Solitude's renowned for.
How do you ensure that you don't disrupt the performance while taking photos?
We have a discrete and unobtrusive approach to capturing live shows. We move quietly and use silent shooting modes when necessary, with the end goal of capturing the performance without disrupting the audience or the performers!
What should performers and producers do to help ensure the best possible photos?
Clear communication is key! Providing a detailed schedule of the performance, highlighting key moments, and any specific shots you desire can be very helpful. It’s also beneficial if we can arrive prior to the show to speak with the producer and/or performers to understand the flow and important elements of the show.
How do you handle image rights and usage?
We provide a license for the use of the images, which typically includes usage rights for promotional purposes, websites, and social media. If you need exclusive rights or have specific usage requirements, we can discuss and arrange a suitable agreement.
Do you travel for productions beyond Adelaide?
Absolutely! We can travel both around SA and interstate. Additional travel fees may apply depending on the location and distance. Please get in touch to discuss a custom quote.
Can you capture rehearsals as well as live performances?
Absolutely! Photographing rehearsals can be a great way to capture candid moments and behind-the-scenes action. It also allows us to get a feel for each performance, which helps us anticipate key moments during the live show.
